In December 2024, the State Board of Education made the determination to move forward with the review and revision of the high school mathematics standards. The timeline below describes the expected process for the review.

December 2024
State Board of Education makes determination regarding revisions.

January 15–February 14, 2025
Application for standards revision committee is posted.

February–March 2025
Standards revision committee is announced.

Spring/Summer 2025
Standards revision committee meets to develop recommendations.

Fall 2025
Committee recommendations presented to board and stakeholders for feedback.

Fall 2025
Committee finalizes recommendations based on feedback from board and public.

Winter/Spring 2026
Final recommendations are presented to the State Board for approval.
