Strategies to Write Informational Text (Online Course)

Strategies to Write Informational Text for Secondary Students is an 8-week self-paced course with 11 modules that provide resources to support the writing process. It follows the book by Jill Jackson, How to Teach Students to Write Informational Text. You will not need the book to complete the course.

This course is already in session, check back for the Fall 2020 session. 


Listserv

The Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapy listserv supports school-based OTs: 1) by providing information and news regarding the profession; 2) by announcing professional development and training opportunities; and, 3) by posting school-based job openings. There are no advertisements from vendors or contract-based companies. This service is also chat-free.

Occupational Therapy Advisory Council

The Exceptional Student Services consultant for OT along with regional OT representatives who comprise the Occupational Therapy Advisory Council, meet throughout the year to inform the Colorado Department of Education on statewide OT professional learning and technical assistance needs and assist in the development of guidance materials to support the profession.
