NCLB Allocations and Fiscal Files
The Improving America's Schools Act (IASA) of 1994, which was the prior reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, has been replaced with the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001. The NCLB Act was signed into law on January 8, 2002 and is the latest reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. NCLB was effective as of January 8, 2002, however most provisions were not implemented until July 1, 2002, with applications for the 2002 - 2003 school year.
