International Transcript Evaluation for Early Childhood Educators
To support equity and diversity in the early childhood profession, the Early Childhood Career Navigation team at CDE is proud to offer the facilitation and payment of International Transcript Evaluation.
We utilize NACES member, IEE - International Education Evaluations, as our vendor for these evaluations. They use both year count and benchmarking methodology. Evaluation documentation requirements vary from country to country. View the required documents needed for your country of education.
If you would benefit from an evaluation for qualifications, licensure, or to continue your higher education journey in early childhood, please follow the steps below:
Step 1 - Determine Eligibility
- You have a college degree and/or early childhood coursework.
- You are pursuing or working with children birth through age 8 years old.
Step 2 - Compile your required documents
- Find and compile required documents.
- We accept scanned copies as well as photos of documents. We cannot accept original documents.
- Documents can be in home language or translated.
Step 3 - Create a free account on the Professional Development Information System (PDIS)
- Creating a PDIS account is free and a requirement for international transcript evaluation.
- When the evaluation is complete, a digital copy of the evaluated documents will be added to your PDIS account to download and save to your computer.

Step 5 - On the submission form, provide brief information including:
- Degree obtained

Step 6 - Documents are sent to the evaluator
- Once received, we will notify you that the documents were received and sent to the evaluator.
- On occasion, IEE may need additional documentation; our team will email you in these instances.
Step 7 - A digital copy of the evaluated documents will be provided for use in your early childhood career
- A digital copy of your evaluated documents will be uploaded to your PDIS account. We recommend that you download the documents to your computer upon receipt.
