Equity & Excellence Learning Series: Applying the Tools of Cultural Proficiency

CDE would like to invite you to the second of three events for the Equity & Excellence Learning Series. The Federal Programs and Supports Unit is hosting a free, in-person professional development session titled “Applying the Tools of Cultural Proficiency” on February 25, 2025 where district and school-level leaders will receive tools to help support their teams with authentically serving all students. This session will introduce the NEW Equity Toolkit, developed through a CDE and WestEd partnership and designed to support educators to understand self, understand others, and understand community context to notice things we may not have noticed before and enhance our understanding of the lived experiences that contribute to individual strengths and assets.
