School Library Leadership Consultant
Suzi Tonini (she/her/hers) is the School Library Leadership Consultant at the Colorado State Library. Suzi has more than 20 years of experience in education as both a classroom teacher and teacher librarian and she believes every Colorado student deserves a strong school library program. Suzi partners with HESTL Program Coordinator Tammy Langeberg to lead Highly Effective Schools Through Libraries, a credentialing program that provides guidance for K-12 administrators and school library professionals and recognizes outstanding Colorado school library programs and librarians. Suzi is eager to consult with you to provide resources, professional learning and support for your school library program.
Highly Effective Schools Through Libraries (HESTL) Coordinator
Tammy Langeberg (she/her/hers) is the Highly Effective Schools Through Libraries (HESTL) Coordinator at the Colorado State Library working alongside Suzi Tonini, the School Library Leadership Consultant. Tammy has spent more than 35 years in education as a classroom teacher, teacher librarian, and support for school librarians. HESTL is a credentialing program that provides guidance for K-12 administrators and school library professionals and recognizes outstanding Colorado school library programs and librarians. Tammy believes all school librarians are highly effective and have the potential to hold the HESTL distinction. Tammy is available to support and guide school librarians as they navigate the HESTL application process.
