ARP ESSER III Countdown to Closeout
- Ensure activities and costs in the application reflect activities that were implemented by September 30, 2024. If revisions are needed, submit a Post-Award Revision (PAR) as soon as possible.
- Ensure the LEA’s 20% Learning Loss Set-Aside is met.

- Reporting - By December 20, 2024
- Submit student participation in summer school, afterschool, extended learning opportunities, high-dosage intensive tutoring, full-service community schools, early childhood education, and educational technology use for the 2023-2024 school year; that data will be reported in one of the available LEA Participation in ESSER Activities data collection templates.
- Report on whether the LEA sought to reengage students with poor attendance or participation in the 2023-2024 school year (regardless of whether ESSER funds were used for this purpose) in the Student Reengagement Survey.
- For LEAs allocating ESSER funds to schools, report on the criteria used to allocate those funds in the 2023-2024 school year in the School Level Allocations Survey.
- Prepare LEA’s ESSER III Close-out Report - submit by December 1, 2024
- LEAs Currently Participating in Monitoring
- Ensure all ESSER monitoring requested information and documentation have been submitted to CDE.

January 2025:

Please refer to ESSER Grantee/Subgrantee Reporting webpage for updates.
- All grantees and subgrantees that have a renovation, major remodeling, construction, or real property project of $1 million or more in funds from these programs must record all Notice of Federal Interest (NFI) by January 28, 2025.
July 2025:
