Participants will be able to:

  • Identify estimated prevalence of feeding problems in children with ASD
  • Understand different examples of feeding & eating challenges
  • Recognize ethical considerations treating feeding issues in school settings
  • Identify behavioral assessment factors to emphasize or adapt for children with autism

Study Questions

  1. Describe three of the feeding and eating challenges discussed in the webinar that affect many individuals with autism.
  2. Give a comprehensive description of food selectivity in autism, including the long term nutritional concerns.
