Secondary Transition Focus Group for Parents/Families Of Students with Disabilities

What:
What is a focus group? A focus group is used to gather in-depth insights through group interaction. Participants will be asked as series of questions to discover their knowledge of the secondary transition planning process for youth ages 15-21.
Who:
All parents/families of youth with disabilities.
Why:
Transition planning is required for youth ages 15-21. However, transition planning actually, begins much earlier. Information gained will be used to understand the needs of parents/families to assure they have the information, training, and supports needed to successfully navigate the secondary transition planning
When:
- August 24, 2021; 12-1pm
- August 24, 2021; 6-7pm
- September 22, 2021; 12-1pm
- September 22, 2021; 6-7pm (Spanish- speaking parents/families)
How:
All focus group meetings will be virtual. Please select the session that you plan to attend and indicate whether you need accommodations. You will receive a confirmation email that includes a link to the meeting.
